My weddings have been soo much fun this year and it just keeps getting better! Marc and Anne got married at the very beautiful Co-Cathedral of Sacred Heart in Houston, Tx. They had their reception at the Doubletree Downtown.
They were such a fun couple to work with and completely in love! And I am very excited to show off these images!
The girls and the guys got ready at the Doubletree. Anne used Cara Dulce for hair and makeup.

While getting ready, Anne's best friend and maid of honor wrote out her vows.

I loved the beaded detail on her dress.

Co-Cathedral has a bridal room where Anne decided to finish getting ready.

Thankfully the rain stopped just in time for us to do some portraits outside.

The Co-Cathedral is very beautiful, I always love shooting there.

I love this shot, I wasn't allowed past the fountain which is only half way down the aisle, but at least I knew I was covered :)

Heh, why do the guests always get prime location?

Now ladies, I can not express enough how important lighting is! I love it when a bride splurges on up-lighting, it just changes the whole ballgame.

Her cakes were made by Cake Affairs - very cool.

Inside the grass of the groom's cake was this little cutie.

I love Marc's expression here during the toast.

Marc and Anne had the best band ever! I can't wait to work with Mango Punch again! I'm not sure who's idea it was, but the band played three sets - a rock set, Latin set, and a country set. For each set, props were brought out for the guests. It was sooo much fun and really got everyone on the dance floor!

During the middle of the reception Mango Punched gave the stage to Anne and her girls and then Marc and his guys. Loved it.

Hehe, even grandma got into it!

Another highlight of the night - Marc's fraternity. Apparently, it's tradition for them for them to gather in a circle at every wedding and sing to the bride and then drop their pants. Yup. Interesting.

HELLO!

Marc and Anne's exit - instead of the traditional bubbles or flower pedals, they thought it would be cute to have all their guests wear the props handed out in the reception. Yes, I would have to say, very cute.

Thank you again Marc and Anne for letting me be part of your special day! And a special thank you for Dianna Montoya for being my second shooter!
